We’ve been keeping away from the internet today, since we hadn’t watched the BSG finale yet. We just finished it!
Without spoiling anything, we were both pleased with it. I tried to not think about it all week, so I tried not to have any expectations.
I wished we’d gone to a party last night, but it was also nice to sit in reverence and watch the last episode.
I’ll let the finale sit for awhile, but I’ll definitely be up for watching the series from the first season again. It might be good to be able to connect things in my mind.
Anyway, I was not disappointed, but pleased at the end.

As you saw me mention on Twitter, I’m pleasantly surprised. I really didn’t think they’d be able to come up with an ending that I’d consider satisfying, but they managed to pull it off. I’m not without a few questions — though I’m not sure how to couch any of them in spoiler-free terms, so I’ll just hold off for now — but overall, it works for me. Looking forward to seeing more in-depth analysis as more people get a chance to watch it and let it roll around their noggins for a while.
