Episode #14 of the Seattle Geekly podcast is going to be all about webcomics! We’ll be talking about the ones we read and hopefully talking with a couple creators about the pros and cons of the webcomics medium. If you have a favorite webcomic that you read (or write) let us know about it!

Your Monday news roundup is under the fold

Anime

Anime News Network is reporting that the Moribito – Guardian of the Spirit anime series is returning to Cartoon Network’s Adult Swim this summer. The new run will include the entire series, and not just the 10 episodes that ran last year. The Moribito anime adapts Nahoko Uehashi’s intricately detailed fantasy novel about a spearwoman who protects a prince from his own father and other enemies. If they continue with past practice the episodes will be dubbed.

Books

Not sure how we missed this but Dead and Gone, the ninth book in Charlaine Harris‘ Southern Vampire series, hit shelves earlier this month. The Southern Vampire books are the source material for the HBO series True Blood
