Crypticon 2009 is almost upon us. This will be the first horror con that either of us has attended and we are really excited. It sounds like the Crypticon crew has put together a fantastic event with a little something for all the horror fans out there.

This week we get the scoop on some of the programming that will be happening at Crypticon from programming head Eric Morgret and movie coordinator Sean Smithson. Shannon also interviews two of the media guests that will be at the con, John Skipp and Cody Goodfellow who talked about their new book Jake’s Wake.

All that plus the weekly geek news and events!

World of Warcraft – Shannon’s Mage, Matt’s Druid

Shannon achieves Peggle mastery at last! If you haven’t seen it, check out the Zero Punctuation review of Peggle. Like all ZP stuff this has adult language in it, but is also pretty funny.

Underworld: Rise of the Lycans

Muppet History 101 with Craig Shemin. Seriously, if you haven’t gone to see Jim Henson’s Fantastic World at EMP|SFM, you need to go. Right now.

  1. Jacinda says:

I really wish I could go to Crypticon, but my daughter graduates High School that same weekend :(

I’d love to hear more about the old horror movies that Sean spoke of. I know very little about horror movies that are 70+ years old. :)

  2. Shannon says:

The good news is we’ll be covering it for our June 18th show! Hope to get lots of interviews and pictures to share!
