A somewhat abbreviated show due to us being stupidly busy with PAX preparations but we still have some good stuff this week. We were lucky enough to make it to the launch party and reading for the Grants Pass post-apocalyptic short story anthology that just came out and we had a chance to record interviews with several of the contributing authors. We also have details on our Saturday morning meet-up at PAX for listeners who want to get together and we talk with Jim Demonakos of Kirby Krackle about their upcoming show at the High Dive.

♦September 10, 2009 High Dive 513 N 36th St #G, Seattle – Beefy and Kirby Krackle show. Beefy, eastern Washington’s nerdcore MC extraordinaire and Seattle’s own Kirby Krackle playing live at the Dive! 21+ over show, tickets are $7 at the door.
♦Find us at PAX! We’ll be there all weekend an we’ll have free buttons that we’re going to be handing out to listeners and you can also take advantage of the “in person” discount on the Seattle Geekly t-shirts, we’ll be selling them for $15 at the con. We are also having a meet-up and coffe break Saturday 9/5 11:30am at the Caffe Dior on the first level inside the Convention Center! Grab coffee with us and hang out for a bit before spending that 2nd day at PAX.
♦If you aren’t at PAX hopefully you’ll be able to make it to Kumoricon in Portland. As a matter of fact, you could go to all three days of PAX and still make it to the Monday of Kumoricon. You know you want to!

Music today was Downtrodden by Abney Park. Look for their new album Aether Shanties coming this fall. Also, they are playing live this weekend at Dragon Con in Atlanta and they will be at Steamcon here in Seattle this October!
