The weather is starting to cool off and that is an excellent excuse to hide inside under a pile of blankets with a good book. Alert listeners may notice something of a theme in our response to the weather. During the summer we used the excessive heat as an excuse to stay inside and hide from the sun with a good book. The truth is, we don’t need much of an excuse to stay inside with a good book. For one thing we love to read, and for another everyone knows there are bears outside!

This week we interview A.P. Stephens, Rob Rogers, Mark Henry and Cherie Priest, four authors covering a variety of genres and all with works that we think you should add to your reading list.

Plus the weekly geek news and Seattle area geek events.

Opening night from 6:00 to 9:00 PM Johnny Ryan will sign books and present an exhibition of his original comix, colorful silkscreen prints, and sculpted figures.
