David Hess, the guy that played Krug, only agreed to take the role if he was allowed to write the music for the film.  That&#039;s where the folksy melodies about rape and murder come from.  Wes Craven is good at many things, but this was his first flick and mistakes will be made.  He wanted to call the thing &quot;Sex Crime of the Century&quot; for crap sake.  If you still have the DVD, the commentary track and documentary are defiantly worth a watch.  It&#039;s great to hear Wes Craven look back and say, &quot;What the hell was I thinking?&quot;</description>
