Star Trek is the comfort food of science fiction. It is enjoyable and satisfying even if it isn’t always good for you. In this season of traditions and celebrations we decided to compose our Ode to Star Trek. Helping us talk Trek this week is renowned Star Trek authority Larry Nemecek, author of ST: The Next Generation Companion, Jim Krieg director of The Kirkie, the Star Trek themed short film that won Best Sci-Fi Short at Seattle’s Maelstrom International Fantastic Film Festival and as if that wasn’t enough we also had another chance to talk with Dayton Ward, author of more Trek related novels, novellas, short stories and articles than you can shake a tricorder at.
We also have the weekly geek news, Seattle area geek events and a brand new contest!
