Emerald City ComiCon 2010 was an amazing weekend by any measure. The theme of Saturday was “crowded”. If you wanted to see any of the big name media guests or even do little things like pick up your con badges you could expect to stand in a line. That being said, there was still a lot of fun to be had and this week we’re bringing you some of our highlights from the first day of the con.
In our first of two shows we bring you interviews with Alina Pete, creator of the webcomic Weregeek, the creators of the comic Two Percent Solution, Rebecca Hicks of Little Vampires fame, Chuck Messinger, the founder of Creators Edge Press, DC Comics writer Eric Trautmann, creator of Monster Commute Daniel M. Davis, Dane Ault from Monkey Minion Press, representatives of Spokane Comicsmiths Guild and the Spokane ComiCon, and Jeff Lewis, Robin Thorsen and Sandeep Parikh, three of the cast members from the ever-popular web series The Guild.
All that plus Shannon watches what may be one of her favorite Bad Movies yet, Seattle area geek events and the weekly geek news.
