I have a history with Magic. My brother used to play it. All.The.Time! It drove me nuts as a teenager.
Now it has come back into my world. My 11 year old son has shown interest. But my brother got rid of all of his old decks. If I’m lucky enough to get this prize pack, the cards will go to my geek-in-training.
I love MTG. I have been playing since 1998. At first it was something my little brother did so I started to play and soon I was hooked. The thing I like is the tournaments. Looking forward to the PTQ in PDX Sat May 08th. The rest of this year is loaded with tournaments. May 15 in Tacoma. and back up to Seattle later this year for a few tournaments followed by a GPX in PDX 9/12. I might even sqeeze in a Friday night magic at Berserk games while im in Seattle for a wedding.

I started playing magic in 1994, and never stopped since.
It’s the funnies and most strategic game I’ve ever played, and it gives you the opportunity to make new friends.
For 9 years I have also been a judge and this gave me the opportunity to travel across Europe and meet many players from everywhere around the world.
Now I have two children and I will teach’em the game as soon as possible.
I started playing the Magic cards over 15 years ago. I have probably opened 5,000 packs of Magic cards in my life. Gotta love it!

I recently had to sell my entire MTG collection in order to help finance my indie game. I have played off and on since Revised edition and I have very fond memories of this game.

Wow, would LOVE to win one of these to jump start my Magic playing again. When I moved out, my mom sold all my RPG stuff, including MTG cards, at a garage sale. Since I started playing right after the original beta, you don’t even want to know what cards I had.
I started playing Magic back when people in the Bay Area were still shooting at each other for cards….wow…that dates me. I walked away from Magic back after Cardhaus closed several years ago. Norwescon 33 brought me back into the fold and the new cards are pretty nice. I wouldn’t mind getting a hold of some new cards!
So much for getting to break out the trusty old 30-sided die… I ruin EVERYTHING!

I’ve had an on-again, off-again love for Magic, currently I’m in the on-again stage. I’ve been playing since Tempest, been to a PTQ, but mostly enjoy playing open forum with friends. I just heard about PTQ next week & I’m intrigued, again for the thrill of defeat. Heard about your podcast from One of Swords, and like what you guys ate doing, too. Tis nice to hear news about people I know. Keep up the good work.
