If you long to see something on the big screen that isn’t just another sequel, adaptation or remake these days your best, if not only, option is film festivals. We are lucky here in the northwest to have a strong and diverse group of festivals every year. This week we talk to the organizers of two upcoming festivals that will be of interest to the geek set, the Bonebat Comedy of Horrors and the Maelstrom International Fantastic Film Festival.

We also have the weekly geek news and Shannon watches her worst dared movie yet!
